Jamie
Jamie have been an active pet sitter for 6 years now. During this time she has had the opportunity to care for many diffrent types of pets including: birds, Cats, Dogs, Livestock, Pocket Pets and more. Jamie currently works in the veterinary industry as well. She has experience working at an animal shelter for a short time but found it difficult so she switched to veterinary medicine. Even though Jamie takes care of healthy pet's she often is caring for pet's with medical condtions or aging pets that require more attention. It has been especially helpful having worked in the veterinary field for the past 8 years since it provides her with the latest medical knowledge and helps her detect early warning signs that can often be missed.
Even though she and her human family currently have three dogs and a single cat, Jamie has had the pleasure of having many different kinds of animals as pets. She has had Cats, Chickens, Birds, Dogs, Ducks and Pocket Pets.
Allison
Allison has been an active pet sitter for 12 years and has worked in the veterinary industy for just over 14 years. Allison has worked as a kennel assistant, receptionist, veterinary assitant and as a pharmacy technician. Currently she is working at a 24 hour Veterinary Emergency facility at night. Working a swing shift allows her to be able to do most of her pet sitting visits during the day. Allison is also the primary horse and overnight pet sitter. She sometimes spends more time at client's houses then her own. Allison has had the opportunity to work with many different types of animals including: Birds, Cats, Dogs, Exotics, Livestock, Reptiles, Pocket Pets and more.
Allison currently has Birds, Cats, Dogs, Horses and Turtles.
In 2011 Allison became a dietary vegan. Animal rights and their welfare has always been an important subject for Allison. Along with becomging a vegan Allison also belongs to PETA, the ASPCA and the Hooved Animal Humane Society.
